Jae Wutthipong Announces Withdrawal from Upcoming MP Election

Prachinburi: Jae Wutthipong, the former Member of Parliament for Prachinburi Province, has announced that he will not be contesting in the upcoming election. He expressed pride in his tenure of 2 years and 10 months, during which he worked for the people of Prachinburi, addressing their issues in Parliament.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wuttipong Thonglao, who represented the Chart Thai Development Party, made this announcement on his personal Facebook page at 7:00 PM on December 21, 2025. He stated, "I would like to request permission not to run in the next election. The past 2 years and 10 months as MP for Prachinburi Constituency 2 have been the proudest moments of my life as an ordinary person, having received this honorable mandate from the people of Prachinburi Province, Constituency 2."

Mr. Wuttipong emphasized the valuable experiences he gained while working in Prachinburi Province. He cherished the interactions with villagers, sharing their problems and forming friendships, which were filled with both smiles and tears. He highlighted his belief that even an ordinary person, not from a powerful political family, can contribute to societal change. He noted that while his time in office may have been short, his dedication to serving the people was evident. He recounted his efforts in Parliament, where he consistently addressed the people's grievances.

Reflecting on his work, Mr. Wuttipong shared a metaphor of creating hope and faith: "Every morning, whether it's sunny or rainy, I collect the most shiny and beautiful stones, hike up the high mountain, and stack them daily. My goal is to make the stack taller and bigger, hoping that the sunlight will shine down on the people of Prachinburi province, telling them that we can still change this province. All we need is to get up and do it."
