The Embassy of Italy in Baku has opened a Book of Condolences to honor the victims of the earthquake.
Representatives of diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan, public figures and government officials have signed the book.
At least 267 people were killed after a 6-magnitude earthquake struck central Italy on August 24. The Italian Civil Protection Department said the hardest-hit were Lazio town of Amatrice and nearby Accumoli. Two-day mourning was declared in Italy for earthquake victims.
