Samut prakan: Police are working to track down the escape route of a lone robber, dressed as a rider, who robbed a gold shop in a popular shopping mall in Samut Prakan province, making off with 163 baht worth of gold, worth over 8.6 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, this morning, the investigation team from Bang Bo Police Station met and reviewed CCTV footage along the escape route on Theparat Road (Bangna-Trad) heading towards Chonburi Province. They focused on risky areas along Theparat Road, including secondary routes connecting to the area. They planned an investigation plan that would lead to the identification of the perpetrator, particularly regarding the rider's uniform worn at the time of the incident.
Police Major General Wichit Bunchinwutthikun, Commander of Samut Prakan Provincial Police, revealed that he has summoned witnesses and gold shop employees for detailed questioning. He requested time for police to complete their work and urged them to use careful tactics, ranging from light to heavy, if the perpetrator is identified, as the perpetrator was armed with a firearm.
