Bangkok: Guitar Keerata, representing Nong Khai, achieved a significant victory by winning the Best Royal Thai Dress award during the Miss Trans Thailand 2025 ICONIC contest. This prestigious recognition was part of "The Elegance of Royal Thai Dress Round," a segment dedicated to showcasing the unique and valuable Thai dress styles.
According to Thai News Agency, the event took place at PHENIX COMMON SPACE, celebrating the concept of "Be The Inspiration," which emphasizes beauty as a transformative power. The special round featured eight distinct styles of Royal Thai Dress, with Khun Nok Yalda and Teacher Tongta Chamroenjai hosting the proceedings. Guitar Keerata Wongsopaphan's exceptional interpretation and presentation of the Royal Thai Dress secured her an automatic Fast Track entry into the Top 20 contestants.
During the contest, 36 participants presented their interpretations of Royal Thai Dress designs, reflecting the artistry of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Her designs are renowned for enabling Thai beauty to stand on par with global high fashion, instilling pride among Thai people.
The Miss Trans Thailand 2025 "ICONIC" pageant, spearheaded by Dr. Anchalee Chivajorn, along with pageant directors Mr. Wanchai Temthanasap and Mr. Peerawat Wechaprasit, and assistant director Ms. Tongta Chamroenjai, seeks to identify trans women who embody beauty, intelligence, and societal impact. The pageant aims to crown a winner who symbolizes courage, inspiration, and the acceptance of diversity, fostering an inclusive society for the LGBTQIA+ community.
