Bangkok: Grand Sport has launched the 2026 Thai national volleyball team uniforms under the concept of 'NEXT HORIZON,' a journey towards a 'new horizon,' signifying unwavering progress and the pursuit of even greater goals. The design highlight is the 'lines' on the jersey, crafted to move in multiple directions but all converging towards the same destination. This symbolizes the energy, determination, and heart of the Thai national athletes, who come from diverse backgrounds but unite towards a common goal. Further details include hidden floral, earth, and water motifs beneath the lines on the jersey, within the national flag and logo, reflecting the journey to new territories and new challenges the athletes must overcome.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thiti Phruksachum, Vice President of Grand Sport Group, stated that Grand Sport has significant experience in making uniforms for athletes, with a particular focus on the Thai national volleyball team. He emphasized the necessity of high-quality fabrics, revealing the use of Micro Lite fabric with Lightweight Performance Fabric properties. This fabric is lightweight, soft to the touch, absorbs sweat well, dries quickly, and prevents dampness, allowing athletes to play with agility during the game. The armholes and shirt design are optimized to provide athletes with more confidence during competitions.
Mr. Thiti expressed optimism about the team's prospects, highlighting the mix of experienced international players and promising young talents from the Thailand Volleyball League. He believes this year will be another exciting and aggressive year for the Thai women's volleyball team, ready to compete in the 2026 Women's Nations League from June 3rd to July 27th.
The new jerseys come in four colors, each with its unique identity. 'Red Horizon' symbolizes power and passion with infrared red lines. 'Blue Horizon' represents stability and future power with light blue lines. 'White Horizon' stands for new beginnings and clarity, featuring black lines. 'Black Horizon' conveys power and strength, enhanced with gold lines for a fierce look.
The jerseys are priced at 850 baht and available in sizes S-3XL for women and S-4XL for men, with size 5XL priced at 950 baht. They will be available from May 21, 2026, at Grand Sport Shops and authorized retailers nationwide.
The Thailand National Volleyball Team Collection 2026 also includes a range of fan merchandise, offering fan t-shirts, tracksuits, polo shirts, backpacks, oversized t-shirts, and handle bags, catering to volleyball fans who want to support the Thai national team both on and off the court.
In the upcoming Volleyball Nations League (VNL) competition, to be held from June 17-21, 2026, at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Thai national women's volleyball team players expressed their determination to perform their best. They appealed to fans for support and cheers, emphasizing the importance of energy and encouragement from their supporters.
