Bangkok: Governor Chatchart Sittipunt emphasized the necessity of a systemic approach to tackle corruption during his participation in the "Anti-Corruption Day 2026" event. Speaking under the theme "Corruption Can Be Solved," he joined a panel discussion titled "Who Corrupts, Who Solves It?" where he highlighted the importance of uniting all sectors to employ technology and open data to minimize opportunities for fraudulent activities.
According to Thai News Agency, Governor Chatchart outlined that solving corruption requires a comprehensive understanding of the "ecosystem of corruption." This ecosystem encompasses various stakeholders, including executives, government officials, the private sector, those in authority, the public, and auditing bodies. He stressed the need for a system that inherently deters corruption, in conjunction with cultivating awareness and a sense of responsibility among all parties involved.
