According to Thai News Agency, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior advised residents to stay in the bunkers to ensure their safety. Authorities have confirmed that both front and rear guards are maintaining a high level of alertness in response to the situation. Prime Minister's Office spokesman Siripong Angkasakulkiat addressed the situation, noting that loudspeaker announcements had prompted the evacuation of villagers in Nong Ya Kaew and Ban Nong Chan in Sa Kaeo Province. He confirmed the Permanent Secretary's report that a loud explosion-like sound was heard at 7:20 PM near the border of Ban Nong Ya Kaew. Villagers have been advised to remain in their bunkers while officials continue to closely monitor the situation and reassured the public to avoid panic .
