Government Encourages Participation in Asia’s Largest Food and Beverage Trade Fair

Bangkok: The government invites participation in "THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025," Asia's largest food and beverage event, to enhance Thai entrepreneurs' presence in the international market, with an expected circulation of over 98 billion baht.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced that the event will take place from May 27-31, 2025, at Impact Muang Thong Thani. This fair is a collaboration among the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse, Germany.

The event serves as a global platform for Thai entrepreneurs to display their capabilities in food products, technology, and innovation and to engage in business negotiations with international partners. This year, exhibitors from 56 countries will participate, with more than 6,205 booths. The event expects over 90,000 visitors, contributing to the substantial economic circulation.

Thailand ranks as the world's 12th largest food exporter and aims to achieve 1.75 trillion baht in food exports in 2025, marking a 6.8% increase from the previous year. This aligns with the "Thai Kitchen to the World Kitchen" policy, which emphasizes introducing innovative food and beverage products that cater to global consumer needs.
