Found 2 More Landmines – Demolished Cambodian Soldier Shelters


Sa kaeo: The National Police Chief and the 1st Army Region Commander visited the Sa Kaeo border area to inspect and boost the morale of military personnel, emphasizing readiness to join forces in the mission to protect sovereignty. Meanwhile, officials today cleared the area of Ban Nong Ya Kaeo and discovered two more landmines. Seven have been cleared in four days, along with the dismantling of a Cambodian military shelter that had encroached on Thai territory.



According to Thai News Agency, the visit aimed to ensure that the military forces remain prepared and vigilant in safeguarding the border. The recent discovery of landmines highlights ongoing security challenges in the region.
