Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul will meet one-on-one with his Canadian counterpart, Melanie Joly, in Seoul later this week for talks on bilateral relations and cooperation, Cho's office said Tuesday. During the talks set for Thursday, the two ministers will discuss efforts to further enhance cooperation and partnership in areas such as security and defense, foreign ministry spokesperson Lim Soo-suk said in a press briefing. They will also discuss regional issues, including those concerning the Korean Peninsula and Ukraine, Lim added.
