Floodwaters Cause Severe Disruption in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya:Bang Bal Residents in Bang Bal District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, are facing severe flooding as water levels have reached the second floor of many houses. Families have been forced to relocate, setting up tents along roadsides to escape the heat and protect their belongings. They are using boats to access temporary toilets due to unusable sanitation facilities.

Low-lying areas, particularly in Bang Luang Doi Subdistrict, are experiencing flooding up to 2.5 meters deep. The community's infrastructure, including water supply systems, has been severely affected, and residents are struggling with extreme heat.

However, residents remain cautious due to heavy rain forecasts and potential subsequent flooding. They are also discussing government compensation, hoping for an increase to help cover post-flood expenses.

In Ang Thong province, which has six affected districts, over 2,200 households are impacted. The water level at the Ang Thong Provincial Hall has slightly decreased, but downstream areas remain inundated.
