Flood Recovery Efforts Underway in Kabin Buri

Kabin Buri:Residents of Kabin Buri District in Prachinburi Province are actively engaged in restoring their homes following recent floods.

According to Thai News Agency, the situation in Kabin Buri District is showing signs of improvement as water levels continue to recede. However, challenges persist for residents whose homes have been significantly damaged. In the market area of Kabin Buri Subdistrict Municipality, water levels have decreased, and in some places, the flooding has completely subsided. As flood victims return to their homes, they are faced with the daunting task of cleaning and salvaging their belongings, many of which were destroyed by the rapidly rising waters.

Dr. Thawatch's clinic, a critical healthcare provider in the area, was severely impacted. The floodwaters damaged all examination rooms and destroyed a significant portion of the patient records, with only a few being recovered. Dr. Thawatch Jiamratanajaras, the clinic's owner, communicated that reopening the clinic will take time and advised patients with chronic conditions to keep track of their medications for future reference. Efforts are underway to clear mud and debris to facilitate the clinic's reopening.

Motorcycle repair shops in the area are also busy, as many residents bring in flood-damaged motorcycles for repair. The shops have already repaired approximately 30 motorcycles, with more being serviced as the need continues.
