Prachin Buri: Five workers who tragically lost their lives in a factory building collapse in the 304 Industrial Estate, Sri Maha Phot District, Prachin Buri Province, have been identified. The collapse, which occurred at the end of 2014, also left 15 others injured. All victims were male and of Thai nationality.
According to Thai News Agency, the deceased have been identified as Mr. Niran, Mr. Yongyuth, Mr. Thanaphon, Mr. Jirayut, and Mr. Kiap. The victims were working beneath a cement floor slab when it collapsed, resulting in their deaths. In response to the disaster, officials, including representatives from the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office Region 3 and local law enforcement, have visited the scene to conduct investigations. Pol. Col. Mongkol Topao, Superintendent of Sri Maha Phot Police Station, was among those present. Media access to the site has been restricted pending forensic examination to determine the cause of the collapse.
