First royal portrait stamps of King Maha Vajiralongkorn to be officially launched on July 28

Thailand Post yesterday (Feb 6) debuted the first portrait stamps of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun at the 46th National Book Fair & 16th Bangkok International Book Fair 2018 held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

The royal portrait stamps will be officially launched to commemorate His Majesty the King's birthday anniversary on July 28.

The royal postage stamps will come in 12 different prices from one baht to 100 baht.

According to Thailand Post's customer service manager Mr Viboon Serichaiporn, the commemorative royal portrait stamps will be open for order from March 29-April 8 at the convention centre.

The royal stamps will be officially launched to celebrate His Majesty the King's birthday anniversary on July 28.

The royal postage stamps will feature the portrait of His Majesty the King in ancient royal decorations, The Ancient and Auspicious Order of the Nine Gems, and come in different colours and prices ranging from 1 baht to 100 baht starting at 1 baht, 2 baht, 3 baht, 5 baht, 6 baht, 7 baht, 9 baht, 10 baht, 12 baht, 15 baht, 50 baht and 100 baht.

The royal portrait stamps will be issued in two collection sets of 12 stamps at 220 baht for a small set, and at 4,400 baht for a large set of 12 stamp sheets with each sheet having 20 stamps on it.
