Bang Phli:A fire erupted at a car paint and repair shop in Bang Phli, leading to the destruction of more than 20 customer vehicles. The blaze required the response of 10 fire trucks and took nearly an hour to control.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire occurred at SW Master Paint Co., Ltd., situated on Bangna-Trat Road, at approximately 900 PM. The incident was marked by intense flames and sporadic explosions, which prompted a swift response from firefighters. The shop, covering over one rai, housed various cars awaiting repair. The fire began in the paint and repair section and quickly spread to the surrounding vehicles.
Firefighters utilized water and foam to manage the fire. Initial investigations indicate that the affected vehicles were mostly passenger cars brought in for insurance-related repairs. Fortunately, the shop was closed at the time, and no employees were present. A passerby alerted authorities upon noticing the flames. The site is currently sealed off as forensic experts conduct a thorough investigation.
