Bangkok: A fire broke out on the ground floor of the Ban Phaeo Hospital's Chalerm Phra Kiat Building, located in Samut Sakhon province. The fire started in the physiotherapy room due to a short circuit in a backup power supply. Fortunately, there were no injuries as patients, primarily new mothers and infants, were evacuated safely.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire was brought under control in about 40 minutes. Despite the fire being contained, efforts to clear the smoke from the building with water and compressed air are still underway.
