Hua hin: Relatives invited monks to perform a ritual to summon the spirits of the hotel employees. The family of the hotel employee who was killed by an assailant who bludgeoned him to death with an iron bar has invited Buddhist monks to perform a ceremony to summon his spirit. They confirmed they will not be accepting donations. Meanwhile, police have detained the suspect and are opposing bail.
According to Thai News Agency, the family invited monks from the Khao Maha Kassapa monastery to perform a ritual to summon the spirit of Ms. Wirin, an employee of a hotel in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, who was killed by Mr. Rattikorn, or Sam, who bludgeoned her head with an iron pipe. The relatives admitted they are still angry but are leaving it to the law to decide. They also confirmed that the family is not soliciting any donations.
Investigators from Hua Hin Police Station filed a request with Hua Hin Provincial Court for the first remand of Mr. Rattikorn, the suspect.
