Pathum thani: A dramatic scene unfolded at the Nanacharoen Market in the Khukhot Subdistrict of Lam Luk Ka District, as an electric vehicle parked in front of the market began emitting a large amount of smoke. Shoppers were taken by surprise as thick smoke was seen billowing from under the vehicle and the rear of the Honda electric vehicle (EV).
According to Thai News Agency, firefighters swiftly responded to the scene, using water to control the smoke and prevent any potential spread of fire. The vehicle's owner recounted that they had just arrived at the market to purchase groceries and were alarmed to see smoke emanating from the vehicle. They promptly contacted the police and fire department for assistance.
The cause of the smoke emission remains unknown at this time. Authorities have secured the situation, and officials are expected to investigate further to ensure safety and ascertain the cause of the incident.
