Ekanat Confident in Winning Bangkok Seats with Carefully Selected Candidates

Bangkok: "Ekanat" has expressed confidence in securing a victory in Bangkok, emphasizing that the candidates for the upcoming elections have been meticulously selected. Ekanat, maintaining the campaign motto "We won't stop walking until we succeed," is optimistic about the prospects for Bangkok MPs. He believes that with continued dedication and effort until election day, the candidates will achieve victory.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Ekanat discussed his campaign efforts in various parts of Bangkok, highlighting the need for additional support due to the short campaigning period of only 30 days. Many candidates being young, he has taken it upon himself to engage with them personally, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their respective areas. He outlined the campaign strategies, focusing on timing, locations, and key community interactions. Mr. Ekanat is confident that the candidates have developed effective campaign plans tailored to their localities.

Mr. Ekanat also addressed his confidence in expanding their influence in Bangkok. He noted that the candidates' frequent campaigning has increased their motivation and engagement within communities. He has met several candidates in smaller areas, such as Huai Khwang, Wang Thonglang, Phaya Thai, Din Daeng, and Bang Kapi, who are actively connecting with residents. He believes that this grassroots approach is gradually winning over the hearts of Bangkok residents, and with continued effort until February 8th, they stand a good chance in the elections.

Amidst the challenges and opposition faced by candidates across various constituencies, Mr. Ekanat urged them to remain focused on presenting their proposals. He acknowledged that facing criticism is a normal part of political life, especially for long-standing politicians. He encouraged candidates to view criticisms constructively and to implement helpful feedback. He stressed the importance of seizing opportunities and not wasting time in presenting their plans and policies.

In terms of reinforcement strategies for penetrating Bangkok, Mr. Ekanat highlighted the Bhumjaithai Party's significant investment in the city. He pointed to their achievements during their three-month governance, including advancements in border security, economic crisis resolution, and GDP growth. He emphasized the urgency for continued policy implementation to strengthen Thailand's position both regionally and globally.

Mr. Ekanat mentioned that Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, along with key figures like Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas and Ms. Supajee Suthamphan, will be actively campaigning to support parliamentary candidates. He noted that the candidates have been chosen for their close work with constituencies and their understanding of local issues. He reiterated the party's commitment to hard work and perseverance, echoing his personal motto from his tenure at the Ministry of Industry.
