Reporters reported that Economic Correspondents Association Along with a joint committee of 3 private sector institutions (KorKor.) and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce organized a project to select the best leaders of private sector organizations. (Best CEO) of the year 2023 to receive the award for the CEO Econmass Awards 2023 with the objective of this project to create a model of corporate leaders who are inspiring to create momentum in society for good business practices. And have social responsibility according to ESG guidelines as well as to strengthen the country’s competitiveness. By promoting and supporting the leaders of strong business organizations
For the award category, there are 18 awards:
1) 8 branches of the best CEO, selected to be The Best CEO, 1 branch
2) Best CEO, 2 branches and selected to be The Best CEO, 1 branch
3) The best Top CEO of SME 4 branches and selected The Best CEO SME 1
branch
In this regard, the selection process has set up a joint committee of 3 organizations, stipulating 3 selection methods: the best senior CEO for Listed Companies, which will be categorized as divided into 8 branches on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, which will use quantitative measurement criteria. in the first round And let the CEO answer the questionnaire for qualitative scoring in round 2
The second method is to accept applications for 2 categories: the top CEO, middle-generation 2 branches: service and retail. and industrial and manufacturing sectors and the best CEO SME 4 branches in agriculture, industry and manufacturing, trade and trade and service sectors The first round will use quantitative criteria to collect applicants, both income and net profit, must grow positive for 2 years, and then those who qualify for the second round must answer the exam. to measure qualitative results by the Best CEO Nomination Committee have arranged “Open for applications” interested persons to participate in the 2 types of selection projects between August 2 and August 31, 2023, then will notify the results of the first round of selection to those who pass the criteria in the next order
For the qualifications of those who will apply for selection The award is the best middle-generation CEO, meaning a limited company that is not listed on the stock exchange. Or a company listed on the MAI market only, as for the top CEO SME type, means an entrepreneur according to the Ministerial Regulations specifying the characteristics of small and medium enterprises, B.E. 2562, which are SME entrepreneurs ‘Not in the Stock Exchange of Thailand database’
