Bangkok: The diplomatic corps, alongside ambassadors, VIPs, and the general public, have gathered to pay their respects before the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
According to Thai News Agency, today marks the debut of the Bureau of the Royal Household's initiative to allow public access for honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The Bureau has orchestrated a venue equipped with a book of condolences for the royal family, alongside a waiting tent and refreshment booths. Volunteer staff are present to guide attendees through the process of paying respects. The ceremony is scheduled daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In the Red Room of the Royal Palace, representatives from the diplomatic corps of various nations, along with dignitaries, have signed a book of condolences. They took this opportunity to commend Her Majesty's dedication to the nation and her enduring relationships with countries worldwide, acknowledging the loyalty and respect she commands from her subjects and international communities alike.
