Diesel Tanker Overturns in Nakhon Ratchasima, Injuring Three

Nakhon ratchasima: Three people were injured when a diesel fuel tanker overturned before reaching the Ban Wat intersection in Thep Phalai Subdistrict, Khong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The incident resulted in a fuel spill, prompting authorities to take immediate action to control the situation and manage traffic flow to prevent further accidents. According to Thai News Agency, the police reported that the tanker was carrying 9,000 liters of diesel fuel from a depot in Saraburi province to a gas station in Udon Thani province. The driver, who had not rested adequately due to multiple delivery trips, fell asleep at the wheel upon reaching the accident site. This led the truck to veer off its course, overturning and crashing into a tree and a street light pole, causing significant damage. The crash injured three people: the driver's wife, daughter, and granddaughter. Emergency services promptly arrived to provide medical assistance and ensure the safety of the area. Authorities are actively working to clean up the spilled fuel and restore normalcy in the traffic flow while investigating the incident further.
