Bangkok: The Department of Cultural Promotion is advancing with nine strategic missions to promote, preserve, and conserve cultural heritage as it marks its 15th anniversary.
According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Yuthika Isarangkun Na Ayudhya, Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion, along with other department executives, participated in celebratory activities at the Small Auditorium in the Thailand Cultural Center. The Department serves as the key organization in promoting and preserving cultural heritage, focusing on honoring the nation, religion, and the monarchy. It aims to instill pride in Thai values and culture, promote research and development of cultural innovations, and enhance the value of cultural capital.
The Department also seeks to integrate cultural networks across various sectors, develop beneficial technologies for public services, and enhance cultural learning resources. Further, it is committed to preserving and disseminating Thai cultural heritage on an international scale, honoring National Artists and cultural experts, and promoting modern film and video productions relevant to Thai society.
The anniversary event was designed to foster goodwill and strengthen relationships among the Department's executives, personnel, and cultural networks from diverse organizations and agencies.
