Democrat Party Urges Thais to Register for Advance Voting

Bangkok: The Democrat Party spokesperson invites the public to register for advance voting. Pongsakorn, spokesperson for the Democrat Party, urged Thais to register for advance voting on their last chance, as the system closes at midnight tonight, and encouraged them to exercise their right to determine their future.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pongsakorn Kwanmuang, spokesperson for the Democrat Party, stated that eligible voters who are unable to vote on February 8th due to other commitments should register for "advance voting" by midnight tonight. The Election Commission has set today as the final day for advance registration. Regarding registration for voting outside one's registered district and abroad, the Election Commission has been accepting registrations since January 3rd, and the system will remain open until midnight tonight (January 5th).

Mr. Pongsakorn further stated that, in order to ensure that the voices of all citizens matter in determining the direction of the country, the Democrat Party encourages everyone to check their eligibility and register for advance voting. Once registered, they will be able to cast their advance vote on February 1, 2026.

The Democrat Party believes that political awareness and widespread participation in voting will be a crucial foundation for building a strong democracy and the starting point for addressing structural problems to develop Thailand sustainably.
