Police are rushing to conclude the investigation into the fire at the Lat Phrao brewery, with the death toll rising to 32. According to Thai News Agency, Police General Kittirat Phanphet, the Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, revealed the latest developments regarding the tragic fire at the Lat Phrao Brewery. He stated that the death toll from the incident has reached 32, with 77 injured. Of the injured, 39 have been discharged, while the remaining injured, assessed as critical (red category), remain hospitalized and under close medical supervision. Regarding the investigation, General Kittirat stated that investigators have already questioned numerous individuals, including staff, management, and security personnel of the establishment. However, determining whether the fire was caused by negligence or an accident requires clear supporting evidence. Although the forensic investigation report is not yet complete, this information will be crucial in clarifying the true cause of the fire. Importantly, police have recovered all CCTV footage from the scene. The next step involves the Bangkok Metropolitan Police (BMPC) and the investigative team meticulously examining all evidence to expedite the investigation and provide clarity to the public and the bereaved family as soon as possible.
