Bangkok: The Ministry of Finance has announced that today marks the final opportunity for individuals to submit appeals regarding their eligibility for the 2026 State Welfare Card. The system for submitting these requests will close at 11:00 PM.
According to Thai News Agency, as of August 31, 2026, at 5:00 AM, a total of 3,139,886 individuals have passed the eligibility verification process for the State Welfare Registration Project 2026 and are required to confirm their identity through the e-KYC process. Currently, 2,553,825 individuals have successfully completed this verification, which accounts for 81.3% of those eligible. For those 9,314,253 individuals who did not pass the initial eligibility verification, 4,903,354 have already submitted appeals for reconsideration.
Mr. Vinit Visetsuwannapoom, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the importance of today as the deadline for submitting requests for reconsideration. Individuals who believe their eligibility results may be inaccurate or outdated are encouraged to submit their requests through specified channels.
Online submissions for eligibility review can be made until 11:00 PM through applications such as Paotang and other government platforms. Alternatively, individuals can visit branches of five designated banks-Krung Thai Bank, Government Savings Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Housing Bank, and the Islamic Bank of Thailand-during their business hours to submit their requests.
For individuals who have already submitted requests for review, any necessary updates or corrections to personal information should be made by contacting the relevant agency or the One Stop Service center at the district level by September 20, 2026.
The Ministry spokesperson reiterated the urgency of the deadline, stating that appeals can be tracked via the State Welfare Registration Project website. Results of the appeals will be announced on September 30, 2026. Successful applicants must complete their e-KYC verification before they can start utilizing their benefits.
