Bangkok: The deadline for filing appeals regarding the welfare card has been extended to September 20th. This extension comes in response to complications arising from the revocation of vehicle registration due to ownership disputes and instances where vehicles have been sold without proper name change registration.
According to Thai News Agency, the appeals process for the state welfare card, administered by the Ministry of Transport and the Interior, is now prepared to handle complaints. Adjustments to the criteria for consideration are being proposed, with plans to submit these to the Cabinet meeting as soon as possible. This measure aims to address and resolve issues faced by applicants affected by the current registration challenges.
