Cherdsak Aims to Reclaim District 7 Seat with Pheu Thai Policies

Ubon ratchathani: Cherdsak Phokkulkanon, a Member of Parliament for Constituency 7 in Ubon Ratchathani, is optimistic about unseating the incumbent and securing the Pheu Thai party’s seat in the upcoming election. He believes that his policies will effectively address the needs of farmers and the general public, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Cherdsak has been actively engaging with residents in his constituency, sharing the Pheu Thai Party’s policies with the villagers. He reports that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding the party’s promise to guarantee 30% crop profits for farmers, suspend principal and interest payments for three years (up to 500,000 baht), and convert Sor Por Kor land into conditional land titles for returning land to the people. These policies resonate with the community’s needs, and Cherdsak is confident that if Pheu Thai forms the government, it will lead to significant improvements in the lives of the people.

Despite the positive reception, Mr. Cherdsak emphasized that the Pheu Thai Party will continue to campaign diligently in the region. He highlighted that the public perceives the party’s policies as tangible and achievable. Past experiences have shown that Pheu Thai’s policies have benefited the people, though some were not implemented due to political obstructions. He expressed confidence that the implementation of these policies would lead to substantial improvements in the community’s quality of life. Mr. Cherdsak concluded that the Pheu Thai Party remains a strong presence in Ubon Ratchathani, continuing to capture the hearts of its people.

Mr. Cherdsak also commented on the political landscape, noting that his election rivals, who have switched parties, are now criticizing the achievements of their former party despite having been part of those successes. He asserted that such tactics are ineffective because the community is well aware of each party’s contributions. Cherdsak highlighted his consistent efforts in addressing local issues and achieving tangible results. He expressed confidence that in the 2026 election, he will successfully unseat the incumbent who switched parties and reclaim Constituency 7 for the Pheu Thai Party.
