According to Thai News Agency, news reports from the Bhumjaithai Party indicate that after party leaders provided documents for prospective ministers to fill out and submit to the Cabinet Secretariat at Government House today, March 23, 2026, it became clear that the name of Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs, Bowornsak Uwanno, was not included in the Bhumjaithai Party's quota. This followed news that he had declined the position of Deputy Prime Minister and all other positions offered by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
