According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at polling station 7 in Khlong Toei subdistrict, Khlong Toei district, located near the Nana South Suites Hotel at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 4, has been bustling since the polls opened. Citizens have been continuously arriving to cast their votes for the Bangkok Governor and Bangkok Metropolitan Council members. Most came to vote early in the morning, fearing later in the day would be too hot or that it might rain. At this polling station, Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri is listed as voter number 425 out of 570 eligible voters.
Reporters observed that at polling stations 35 to 39 in Ratchadaphisek Subdistrict, Din Daeng District, located near Sutthisan Police Station, a large number of people lined up to cast their votes for the Bangkok Governor and Bangkok Metropolitan Council members before the polls opened at 8:00 AM. The high level of enthusiasm among Bangkok residents was evident. Election officials were on hand to assist voters by verifying their names on voter lists and providing guidance. Upon arrival at the polling station, voters quickly checked their names on the voter registration list with officials, received two ballots, and cast their votes. The process was relatively short. Officials had also installed several fans to improve ventilation, as the morning air was already hot.
