Anutin Emphasizes Unified Governance and Local Development Initiatives


Bangkok: “Anutin” expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for prioritizing local government, highlighting the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to non-partisan administration. During a workshop on regional and local administration, aimed at integrating provincial development for fiscal year 2025, Anutin declared that the Interior Ministry should function without political divisions, likening the effort to a golfer focusing on the game rather than party affiliations.



According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, who serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, delivered a special lecture attended by key figures such as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Director-General of the Department of Local Administration, and provincial executives. In his address, Anutin underscored the importance of merging government and provincial policies to maximize benefits for the populace. He praised the Prime Minister for honoring the meeting’s opening ceremony, emphasizing the government’s collective effort to drive national progress devoid of political party barriers.



Anutin stressed that the Ministry of Interior’s operation should unify both civil servants and politicians to effectively manage provinces. He reiterated the necessity for collaboration between governors and Provincial Administrative Organization presidents to implement government policies efficiently. Highlighting his political background and experience, Anutin assured that the absence of political divisions would lead to successful governance and improved quality of life for citizens.
