Bangkok: Anutin declares Thailand will definitely win, reiterating his readiness to fight alongside the army. At the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, a group of citizens protecting the territorial integrity and the monarchy from various provinces, along with the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), submitted an open letter and flowers to express their support for Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul amidst the tense situation on the Thai-Cambodian border. They emphasized three main points: support for the caretaker government in safeguarding national sovereignty, encouragement for the Prime Minister to perform his duties with strength and composure, and support for the soldiers stationed along the border.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin expressed his gratitude, stating that the public's support is a vital force in protecting sovereignty and national honor. He affirmed that the government has always worked closely with the military and has received confirmation that there has never been a time when military leaders lacked confidence, and that they are ready to handle any situation.
"Thailand is a peace-loving country, but we will not tolerate aggression. Our military is more than ready, and the government provides full support. As a Thai citizen, I am ready to fight alongside my fellow soldiers. We will do our best to minimize casualties, and I am confident that we will win," said Mr. Anutin.
