The Thai national team, ranked 96th globally, conducted their official training at Thammasat Stadium yesterday in preparation for their match against 155th-ranked Singapore. The game is scheduled to take place today at 7:30 PM at the same venue. The team is spearheaded by notable players such as Chanathip Songkrasin, Theerathon Bunmathan, and Sarach Yooyen. New talents like Jude Soonsup Bell from Grimsby Town and Iklas Sanhon from PT Prachuap FC are also expected to make their debuts. Coach Anthony Hudson, in his first match leading the team, will implement a 4-2-3-1 system. The defense will feature Natthaphong Sairiya alongside Pansa Hemviboon, with Theerathon and Sarach controlling the midfield. The attacking line will include Benjamin Davis, Supachai Sarachat, and Chanathip, with Supachai Jaided as the primary striker. Hudson mentioned the limited preparation time but expressed satisfaction with the team's responsiveness to his strategies. He emphasized the importance of experienced players in supporting the younger squad members. While aiming for a victory, Hudson noted that the outcome may not be a decisive win.
