Bangkok: AIS PLAY has announced its acquisition of the rights to broadcast the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship live, reinforcing its position as a leader in delivering world-class sports content. The championship, which will feature Thailand's national team as they aim for a historic medal, will be available for viewing through various AIS PLAY platforms, including the AIS PLAY application, AIS PLAYBOX, and other digital channels. According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Rungtip Jarusiripipat, Head of AIS PLAY, expressed pride in being part of this significant event. She highlighted the popularity of volleyball in Thailand and emphasized AIS PLAY's commitment to providing quality sports content. The event marks Thailand's debut as the host of the championship, offering fans the chance to actively engage and support the national team. Mr. Somporn Usibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, noted the historical significance of Thailand hosting the championship. He emphasized th e potential benefits for the country's tourism and economy and expressed confidence in Thailand's ability to welcome international teams. Preparations for the event are underway, with inspections of four venues in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Bangkok, all of which meet international standards. The championship will run from 22 August to 7 September 2025, featuring 32 teams globally. AIS PLAY will provide live broadcasts of all matches, allowing Thai fans to cheer on their team.
