At approximately 9 AM, an unknown man confronted her, repeatedly declaring, "In three months, you'll have to change your mind!" He mentioned a politician, a former deputy prime minister or minister, and challenged Kwan to file a police report, before fleeing when bystanders became suspicious.
Kwan Usamanee expressed her fear following the incident, describing the man's behavior as unusual and concerning. The mention of high-ranking former politicians has led to suspicions of a premeditated attack, possibly involving multiple perpetrators.
