The Meteorological Department today issued another warning of torrential summer storms in 33 provinces from today until tomorrow, and advised people to keep off staying in open areas, closing to big trees and other unstable buildings and huge signboards.
The warning was meant for people living in 33 provinces in the north, central, east and northest regions.
It said strong summer storms could happen from today and tomorrow with torrential rain storms, wind gusts, and hail storms in some areas of these regions are expected .
Affected provinces in the North included Uttaradit, Sukhothau, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun.
In the central region, affected from summer storms will be Chai Nat, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, and Ratchaburi.
Affected provinces in the Northwest include Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bung Kan, Sakhon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdaharn, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.
In the East are Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Srakaew, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Rayong.
